What to expect

  • Project planning: planning the work schedule, developing the calculation and ongoing control of costs, deadlines and budget in agreement with the customer.
  • Project organisation: organising the project structure, integrating subcontractors, landowners and third parties and ensuring that the work is prepared.
  • Site management: technical and organisational management of the project team and subcontractors, and ensuring that the work is carried out to quality, on time and on budget.
  • Commercial management: monitoring project costs, achieving forecasts, checking amendments and guaranteeing contractual cover.
  • Communication with the customer: ongoing dialogue with the customer and ensuring that health and safety requirements are met throughout the project.
  • Project closure: carrying out partial and final acceptance, submitting review documents, drawing up the final invoice and calculating costs after the event.

Your prerequisites

  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex construction projects, including project management, cost, schedule and resource management.
  • Project management knowledge (e.g. IPMA Level C, Prince2) and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of contracts, health and safety at work and business management processes
  • Good command of Office tools and ERP systems, willingness to travel and Class B driving licence
